JMP® Turns It Up to 11! »
In September, we'll release new versions of JMP and JMP Pro software with features and enhancements that speed the pace of discovery from data import to analysis to presentation. In JMP 11, look for definitive screening designs, interactive HTML reports, the ability to transform variables, tools for performing customer and market research, new Excel import options and integration with MATLAB, to name a few new capabilities. With JMP Pro, Version 11, you'll be able to fit mixed models, use generalized regression techniques, perform uplift modeling and more. Learn about the latest versions of JMP and JMP Pro in upcoming live webcasts, including a presentation on Sept. 10 live from Discovery Summit by John Sall, SAS Co-Founder and Executive Vice President.

Statisticians Take Center Stage at Discovery Summit »
While John Sall's talk about statistics and JMP 11 will kick off Discovery Summit, attendees will also hear from Nate Silver, author of The Signal and the Noise and FiveThirtyEight blogger. An expert in sabermetrics and predictive modeling, Silver rose to fame after correctly predicting the results of the presidential primaries and general election in 49 states in the 2008 presidential race. He improved his results in 2012, correctly predicting the outcome in all 50 states and Washington, DC. Richard D. De Veaux, Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at Williams College, will give the third keynote speech, a brand-new talk drawing on his experience in applied statistics. His past research and speeches have covered topics such as data mining methodology and model selection applied to problems in science and industry. Register for Discovery Summit today!

Have you tried... »
... creating custom groups of your columns in the Columns section? There’s a great way to manage a large list of columns! You can create groups of like columns. And after you create groups, you can add columns at the group level to your analysis. This saves you time because you don’t have to drag individual columns over when populating the analysis dialogs. Also, when you share your data with your colleagues, these grouped columns give them a good head start in understanding some of the relationships in the data in their own analysis.
