Usage Note 8413: How to convert StatView® datasets to JMP® data tables
JMP® cannot open StatView datasets directly. The StatView dataset must
first be saved as a delimited text file, an Excel file, or a SAS
transport file. Saving as a text file or an Excel file is recommended
as there is an 8 character limit for column names when saving as a SAS
transport file.
To save a dataset in one of the above formats within StatView, select
Save As from the File menu then choose the desired format for the Save
as type field.
