Download the JMPInstallerValidation-18.exe
file from this page.

Run the self-extracting executable to create 
a folder named C:\JMPInstallerValidation-18

The JMPInstallerValidation-18 folder contains: 

1. InstallerIQ.jsl - this is the JSL script
   to run that will perform the installer
   validation.

2. InstallerFunctions.jsl - this script is 
   needed as support for the InstallerIQ 
   script.  This script should not be run
   by itself.
   
3. JMPInstallerValidation-18.pdf - a document
   entitled JMP 18 Installer Validation.  
   This document will explain how to perform
   an installer validation and how to 
   interpret the results.
   
4. Various benchmark files to use for JMP 
   Installer validation.  It is important
   to use the correct benchmark file for 
   the version/release of the JMP you want
   to validate.
   
5. Only the critical files that JMP depends on
   to launch and run are scanned for the 
   benchmark files.  Folders named 
   DataConnectors, Extra, ExcelProfiler, imagemaps, 
   Maps, pptx, Quick Start, Samples, Scoring,
   and tkext are not included in the 
   benchmark files.

   Files with jsl, txt, log, xlf, pyd, cat,
   .zip, py, and pdf extensions are not
   included in the benchmark files.
