ON-DEMAND WEBINAR
Understanding Variation: Assessing Process Behavior
A process that is off target, too variable or out of control can result in delays, rework, or defects, which in turn often lead to higher costs and unsatisfied customers. Because of this, it’s important to understand and quantify the sources of variation within a process.
Join us and learn how to:
- Distinguish between common cause and special-cause variation
- Assess the health of a process, whether it’s for a few variables or many using Process Capability and Process Screening in JMP
- Use the interactive Control Chart builder to detect process shifts to prevent unnecessary process shifts and reduce defects
About the Presenter
Alisa Hunt-Lowery, JMP Statistical Discovery
A Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Alisa has extensive experience leading and facilitating cross-functional teams, utilizing skills such as process mapping, Kaizen events, 5S, design of experiments and statistical process control. She has mentored projects worth more than $65 million in documented savings, cost avoidance and operational benefits; she’s also trained more than 1,000 Yellow Belts, Green Belts and Black Belts. Alisa graduated from North Carolina State University with a master’s in industrial engineering.
