Michael Scruggs is Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for JMP Statistical Discovery LLC. Scruggs has over 20 years of experience leading artificial intelligence, data science, and statistics teams for global cloud software companies, consulting firms, and top tier system integrators.

Before joining JMP, he served as Managing Director and Leader for Accenture Federal Services’ Applied Intelligence business. Prior to that, Scruggs had a long tenure at IBM Software Group’s Data and AI business unit, where he held several global sales leadership positions. He came to IBM through the acquisition of SPSS, where he was Vice President, Public Sector Sales and Services. Scruggs has an MBA in international marketing from Averett University and a BS in sociology/criminal justice from the University of Delaware.
