Teaching Statistical Quality Control
Nov. 20 | 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. ET (5:00 – 6:00 p.m. UTC)
Modern industrial processes can be very complex and require use of statistical quality control (SQC) methods for monitoring process behavior and maintaining outputs within specification. For many engineering students, learning SQC methods is therefore central to preparing for the challenges they will face in their careers. This webinar will demonstrate JMP tools and resources you can use to teach SQC. Topics will include:
- Control chart methods to assess the stability of a manufacturing process
- Evaluating the performance of a process to specifications through process capability analysis
- Describing the performance of a measurement system at producing accurate and reliable data
- Relevant teaching tips and resources from the JMP Academic team
