Nicole Jones
Director of Advanced Analytics R&D
Nicole Jones is the Director of Advanced Analytics R&D for JMP Statistical Discovery, a wholly owned subsidiary of SAS that creates interactive and highly visual statistical discovery software designed for scientists and engineers.
She leads a team of analytical experts that are responsible for testing and documenting the statistical features of JMP. With a focus on these statistical features, the team tests the numerical accuracy of algorithms and creates content that describes JMP platforms and how to use them. Jones and her team work closely with developers to ensure that quality tools that are properly documented are delivered to customers.
She earned a BS in applied mathematics from Norfolk State University and master's in statistics and operations research from North Carolina State University.
