Paul Mastropolo leads the human resources team at JMP Statistical Discovery LLC, a subsidiary of SAS that provides interactive and highly visual statistical discovery software to scientists and engineers. As Director, Paul manages a team of HR professionals who deliver strategic advice and council to global client groups on all HR-related areas, including performance management, talent management, coaching, talent acquisition, total rewards, and policy interpretation.
Prior to joining JMP, Paul served in a similar role for SAS, managing a team of HR Business Partners who worked to ensure that SAS’ world-class employee brand attracted, retained, and developed the best and brightest talent. He also worked as a compensation manager at SAS, managing a team that delivered compensation programs to global employees.
Before coming to SAS, Paul worked at Bank of America as an HR Manager and Compensation Manager and as an HR Consultant at The Segal Company, Sibson Consulting Group.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass, Amherst.
When he’s not working, you can probably find Paul playing and coaching soccer, spending time with his family, traveling, reading, cooking, playing board games, or solving puzzles like Wordle and Sudoku.
