Shannon Conners

Shannon Conners is the Director of Software Development R&D for JMP Statistical Discovery, a wholly owned subsidiary of SAS that creates interactive and highly visual statistical discovery software designed for scientists and engineers.

In this role, Conners manages production of new JMP software releases within the R&D group at JMP. She attended Mount Holyoke College, where she graduated summa cum laude with a major in biochemistry and molecular biology and an interdisciplinary minor in culture, health, and science.

Before joining JMP in 2006 as JMP Genomics Product Manager, she used SAS and JMP to analyze and visualize microarray data from microbes from extreme environments during her Ph.D. studies and postdoctoral work in bioinformatics at North Carolina State University.
