Peter Polito is a Senior Systems Engineer for JMP Statistical Discovery. A real-life geologist with experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering, Peter helps his clients solve complex problems through data analysis and visualization.

Prior to joining JMP, Peter spent more than 10 years as an Engineering Research Scientist and Lab Director at the Flemings Research Lab at University of Texas at Austin. Under his direction, Peter and his staff worked with scientists from all over the world to answer scientific questions through experimental design and discovery. His research has been published in numerous professional journals and his work has been featured in popular media, such as the Science Show on ABC National Radio and The Jackson School’s Fueling the Future. Before joining JMP, Peter founded a men’s grooming company, The Bearded Savant, where he used JMP’s DOE platform to help formulate successful grooming products that have been profiled in Men’s Fitness and Gentlemen’s Quarterly.
