PREPARING FOR CLASS

BEFORE CLASS DAY
 

1. Get the latest version of JMP

Confirm your JMP license has the most recent update. If you don´t have JMP installed, please download a 30-day trial .

Note: If you have already downloaded the JMP trial and are past 30 days then you must purchase JMP to participate in this class. The JMP 30 day trial can not be extended.

2. Access class materials

Download course notes and JMP files. You will use these materials to complete the hands-on portion of the workshop. 

3. Download the latest version of Zoom

The virtual classroom will be hosted using Zoom. The Zoom link will be available in your calendar appointment.


DAY OF CLASS
 

1. Open the calendar appointment for the class and click the Zoom link to join the workshop 15 minutes prior to class. Note: Class will begin promptly at start time.

2. Open the course notes and/or course files you downloaded prior to class.


TIPS FOR A SMOOTH EXPERIENCE
 

  • Open the virtual classroom in Zoom 15 minutes prior to the start of class to ensure your setup is working.
  • For Zoom meetings use the Zoom client.
  • Join using the full name you used to register, not an alias (first name/last initial or first initial/last name).
  • Use computer audio or dial in with phone audio.
  • Use dual monitors or a secondary device to view the materials. You may also print the materials if you have limited monitor viewing space.
