JMP Introductory Lab Activities (JILA)
This collection of lab activities provides step-by-step instructions and guidance on the exploration and application of statistical methods covered in Introductory Statistics courses. These can be used as in-class activities or homework assignments.
About lab activities
These activities were originally developed in 2001 at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM) Statistics Institute.
Twenty-seven teachers met to create a variety of materials for teaching statistical concepts. Lee Kucera, Jeane Swaynos, and Susan Peters developed this series of JMP-based activities and teacher resources, with Roxy Peck providing technical guidance.
Due to popular demand, materials have been updated.
