Actual/Planned/Comparison Variable

Use this option to specify the variable describing the actual treatment used, the planned treatment, or a comparison variable. The variable selected here depends on the option selected for the Treatment or Comparison Variable to Use.

Actual Treatment Variable

This option is surfaced when you select Actual as the Treatment or Comparison Variable to Use This variable you select lists the actual treatments the subjects received.

Planned Treatment Variable

This option is surfaced when you select Planned as the Treatment or Comparison Variable to Use This variable you select lists the planned treatments.

Comparison Variable

This option is surfaced when you select Specified Below as the Treatment or Comparison Variable to Use This variable you select specifies the comparison

Select the desired Treatment or Comparison Variable to Use

Click to open the Add window, shown below:

Select the desired variable and click OK.
