Number of decimals for numeric findings

Use this option to specify the number of decimal places for reporting numeric findings in the narrative.

This rule is also applied to reference ranges when the Laboratory Test Results (LB) domain has been specified as the Findings domain to include.

To Specify the Number of Decimal Places to Include in the Narrative:

Make sure that the Include a findings domain in the narrative check box is checked.

Make sure that the Round numeric findings results check box is checked.

Either enter the desired value in the text field or move the slider to the right or to the left to change the value.

Tip: To change the scale of the slider, right-click on the slider and select Rescale Slider from the pop-up menu. Change the upper or lower boundaries in the that appears, to rescale the slider and click OK.
