Simulation Increment

Specify the amount of increment in enrollment when simulating the remaining time from current enrollment +1 up to total enrollment.

To estimate the recruitment time needed to reach the Target Date, JMP Clinical calculates the difference between the Current Recruitment number and the Target Recruitment number. To estimate the time needed to recruit this remaining number of patients, JMP Clinical performs incremental calculations approaching the number of additional patients needed until it arrives at a true estimate. For example, with an increment of 10, estimates the date to recruit an additional of 1, 11, 21, … patients are calculated.

In cases where the total remaining number of patients to recruit is less than 50, the “Simulation Increment“ parameter is automatically adjusted to a smaller number.
