Probability to Stop Adding New Centers

Specify the minimum probability of meeting the deadline to stop adding new centers.

Each time a new center is added, the probability of meeting the target recruitment by the Target Date is recalculated and compared to this threshold. If that probability remain below the threshold, another new center is added the probability is recalculated. New centers are added, one at a time, so long as the probability of meeting the deadline is less than this threshold value. This continues until the probability reaches or exceeds the value specified and the number of new centers is sufficient for the recruitment to reach the target enrollment. At this point, additional center are unneeded.

This value is set to 0.85, be default.
