Consider BY variables in the analysis

Check this box to consider xxCAT, xxSCAT, xxLOC, xxMETHOD, xxPOS, xxSPEC, and xxTPT as BY variables for the analysis.

For example, if xxPOS was available to distinguish eye (OD or OS, right or left) in an ophthalmology study, this box should be checked.

Uncheck this box to ignore these variables when the BY variables are not a design feature, for example, when the arm that the blood pressure was taken from is not particularly relevant to the analysis. If ignoring BY variables causes duplicates to be present, this might exclude certain data records if transposes are required to generate the data set.

Excluded records are summarized using the SAS listing down.
