Use this field to specify the variable containing the start position of each gene.
Important: The gene start and stop variables must be on the same scale as the Location Variable specified on the General tab. A SNP whose location is between the gene start and stop values is assigned the corresponding gene label for the _AnalysisGroup_ variable. If the gene start position is greater than the gene stop position, these values are switched for that gene. There can be no more than two overlapping genes (including the area between the start and stop values specified here plus the distance value specified below) at a location.
All of the variables in the specified data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.
