Choose the selection direction for the index

Use this option to select the subset of individual to cross.

Choose High Values to select individuals with high selection index score. Choose Low Values to select individuals with low selection index score.

Note: Only the progenies in the selected subset will be crossed to produce the next breeding generation.

To Specify the Selection Direction:

Make sure that Index Selection is chosen as the Progeny Selection Method.

Select the desired selection direction by clicking within the appropriate radio button.
