Selection Index Cut Off

Use this option to specify a numerical value indicating the cut-off to select progenies based on the selection index. Only the progenies in the selected subset are crossed to produce the next breeding generation.

Note: The selection index for each trait is computed from one or more Scoring Code Files and the specification of a list of numerical values indicating the weights for the traits entering the selection index.

To Specify the Selection Index Cut off:

Make sure that Index Selection is specified as the Progeny Selection Method.
