ID Variables

Indicate variable(s) used to identify observations in raw data. For microarray data, they are typically the gene ID and block ID.

•	Separate multiple variables by space (“ “).

•	If a space appears within a single variable in the raw data file, please substitute it with an underscore ("_").

To Specify ID Variable(s):

Type the ID variable(s), separated by spaces, into the ID Variables field.

If you change your mind and would like to reset the field, click Clear.

Note: In those cases where there are no column or variable names in the table, type var1 in the text box. If the second column should be the ID, type var2 in the text box.
