Gene Length Variable

Use this field to specify the variable containing the lengths of the individual genes (or exons, if the import data is exon-specific).

Note: This option is available only when TPM has been specified as the Normalization Method.

To Select a Gene Length Variable:

Specify an Input SAS Data Set.

Make sure that TPM has been specified as the Normalization Method on the QC and Normalization tab.

The Available Variables field is populated with variables from the specified data set.

Left-click a variable from the Available Variables field.

Click to add the selected variable to the Gene Description Variable field.
