Output File Prefix

The Output File Prefix field is used to specify a name for the output SAS data set.

The name specified in this field is appended to a process-specific suffix. If no name is specified here, the name of the Input SAS Data Set with a process-specific suffix appended, is specified instead.

To Specify an Output File Prefix:

Click in the field and enter a name for the output data set.

For example, to name the output file of the Hierarchical Clustering process (the suffix for this process is _hc), type h_cluster in the text field.

The resulting data set is named: h_cluster_hc.sas7bdat.

If you change your mind and would like to reset the field, click Clear.
