This option enables you to use only a subset of the features to normalize all of the data (for example, a set of control or housekeeping analyses). For example, if you select MEDIAN as the Standardization Method, then each column is centered at the median of the subset data.Specify the full path and name of a SAS data set that contains the list of features to use for normalization. Then in the Merge Key Variables to Associate with Input SAS Data Set parameter, specify one or more key variables that correspond to the same variables in the Input SAS Data Set. A subset of the input data set is created and used to compute the normalization factor. For detailed information about the files and data sets used or created by JMP Life Sciences software, see Files and Data Sets. The method used for this specification can vary depending on whether JMP is connected to SAS on your local machine or connected to SAS on a server. You should refer to the Specifying Folders, Files, and Data Sets documentation for detailed information.
