The Pedigree Input Engine imports pedigree data into a SAS data set. Pedigree data in formats such as LINKAGE (Lathrop et al., 1986), QTDT (Abecasis et al., 2000), Genehunter (Kruglyak et al., 1996), and FBAT (Horvath et al., 2004) are accommodated by this input engine.
