The Create 0-1 Columns from a Class Variable process creates a new 0-1 indicator column for each level found in the selected column.
For example, if the selected column S of the active JMP table contains levels
A,
B, and
C, three new columns are appended to the end of the table:
A,
B, and
C. If the value of row 5 of
S is
B, then the new column
B is assigned a value of
1, but the new columns
A and
C are assigned values of
0, on row 5.
