Results by BY Variable

The Results by BY VARIABLE tab is partially shown below.

Note: A separate tab is generated for each BY variable specified. In the example shown here, DISEASE was specified as the single BY variable.

The Results by BY VARIABLE tab contains the following elements:

•	A set of frequency charts.

For each categorical variable that was selected, frequency charts separated by the BY variable showing counts and percents of total counts are displayed using JMP’s Chart platform.

•	A set of distributions

For each quantitative variable that was selected, JMP’s Distribution platforms separated by the By Variable showing histograms, quantiles, and summary statistics are displayed.
