Output Description

Merge Gene Sets

Running this process generates the Results window shown below. Refer to the Merge Gene Sets process description for more information about this process and the data sets and files used in this example.

The Results window contains the following elements:

Output Data Set

One output data set (identified by the appended _msd suffix) data set contains the columns in the original data set with an additional Gene_SET column obtained from the GMT gene set.

Click Open to open and view the data set.

The Gene_SET column is highlighted above.

Launch Follow-up Processes

•

Gene Set Enrichment: Click Gene Set Enrichment to launch the Gene Set Enrichment process with the output data set preloaded as input.

Gene Set Scoring: Click Gene Set Scoring to launch the Gene Set Scoring process with the output data set preloaded as input.

General

•

Click Reopen Dialog to reopen the completed process dialog used to generate this output.

•

Click Close All to close all graphics windows and underlying data sets associated with the output.
