Use a proxy server to access the Web
A proxy server is a server that sits between a Web browser and an external server on the Web to filter requests, improve performance, and share connections.
If your computer accesses the Internet through a proxy server, then check this box.
Note the following important points:
• | Before running this process for the first time, you must run the Configure Life Sciences Settings process to set your proxy name and port number in the ProxyOptions.sas file. |
• | This process fails to run if the proxy name and port are misspecified. |
• | Whenever your proxy server changes, you must reset the values of the proxy name and port number in the ProxyOptions.sas file. |
If your computer does not access the Internet through a proxy server, do not check this box.
