Variables By Which to Merge Filter Data Set

Use this field to specify the variables from the {link}{Emphasis}Input SAS Data Set by which to merge with the {link}{Emphasis}Data Set to Use for Filter.

If this field is left blank, these merge variables are assumed to be the same as the key merge variables specified for the {link}{Emphasis}Data Set to Use for Filter.

To Specify the Variables by Which to Merge the Input Data Set and the Filter Data Set:

Specify an {link}{Emphasis}Input SAS Data Set.

All of the variables from the Input SAS Data Set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Left-click a single variable, or hold down Ctrl while left-clicking multiple variables, from the Available Variables field.

Click to add the highlighted variable(s) to the Variables By Which to Merge Filter Data Set field.
