Variables Defining Blocks

Specify variables whose levels define blocks corresponding to a single random effect. Observations within the same block are assumed to be correlated.

To Specify Variables Defining Blocks:

Specify an {link}{Emphasis}Experimental Design SAS Data Set.

The Available Variables field is populated with variables from the specified data set.

Left-click a single variable, or hold down Ctrl while left-clicking multiple variables, from the Available Variables field.

Click to add the selected variable(s) to the Variables Defining Blocks field.
