Annotation Major Allele Variable

The Annotation Major Allele Variable field is used to specify the annotation variable that lists the major alleles for each marker. This variable is used only when the marker variables are not numerically formatted.

To Specify the Annotation Major Allele Variable:

Specify the Annotation SAS Data Set.

All of the variables in the specified annotation data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Highlight the variable listing the major alleles.

Click to add the highlighted variable(s) to the Annotation Major Allele Variables field.

Note: If this variable is not specified, then computation times are increased to determine the major allele.
