Criterion for Optimal Compression Level

This specification determines how the optimized reduced mixed model is selected in order to find the optimal compression level for the K matrix. The compressed K matrix associated with the mixed model that returns the smallest value of this criterion is outputted for further use in the Q-K Mixed Model analytical process.

Available options are listed in the table below:

Options	Description
AIC	Akiaki information criterion
AICC	Corrected Akiaki information criterion
BIC	Sawa Bayesian information criterion

For PROC MIXED, the AIC, AICC, and BIC statistics are reported. For PROC GLIMMIX the pseudo AIC, AICC, and BIC statistics are reported.
