Location Variable

The Location Variable field specifies the variable indicating the position of the markers on the chromosome. This variable is used to index the observations for grouping.

To Specify the Location Variable:

Specify the SAS Data Sets.

All of the variables in the specified annotation input data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Highlight the variable listing the names of the markers in the input data set(s).

Click to add the highlighted variable to the Location Variable field, as shown below:
