Maximum Recombination Fraction Threshold
Use this text box to specify a threshold for the maximum value of the estimated recombination fraction to report.
Theoretically, recombination rates should never be greater than 0.5, but when estimated from the data the value can exceed this theoretical bound. Allowing the value to go above 0.5 can help to refine linkage groups by adding more structure to the data.
When the cross is a Recombinant Inbred Line, the adjustment formulas for recombination can produce even larger estimates than the maximum threshold if you specify a value greater than 0.5.
