Merge Key Variables

Indicate variables from the base input data set by which to merge data from the merge input data set. The same variables must also exist in the merge input data set.

Note: When running the K Matrix Compression process, use this parameter to indicate variables from the Input K Matrix Data Set by which to merge data from the SNP Data Set. The same variables must also exist in the SNP Data Set.

To Specify Merge Key Variables:

Specify the base input data set.

All of the variables in the base input data set are listed in the Available Variables field.

Scroll through the Available Variables field to find the desired merge key variables.

Left-click to highlight a single variable. Hold down the Ctrl key while left-clicking to select multiple variables.

Once you have selected the merge key variables, click the button to add them to the Merge Key Variables field.
