Output File Prefix

The Output File Prefix field is used to specify a name for the output SAS data set.

The name specified in this field is appended to a process-specific suffix. If no name is specified here, the name of the Input SAS Data Set with a process-specific suffix appended, is specified instead.

To Specify an Output File Prefix:

Left-click in the field and type a name for the output data set.

For example, to name the output file of the Kinship Matrix process (the suffix for this process is _kmx), type Kinship_Output in the text field.

The resulting data set is named: Kinship_Output_kmx.sas7bdat.

If you change your mind and would like to reset the field, click Clear.
