Pedigree ID Variable
The Pedigree ID Variable field is used to specify the variable containing the different pedigrees in your data set.
This variable is used as the SUBJECT= variable for the RANDOM statement in PROC MIXED or PROC GLIMMIX.
Note: When this is specified, the number of K Matrix Square Root Variables specified should be the same as the size of the largest pedigree.
To Specify the Pedigree ID Variable:
8 | Specify the Input SAS Data Set. |
All of the variables in the specified input data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.
8 | Examine the list of available variables. |
8 | Highlight the variable containing the pedigree identifiers. |
8 | Click to add the highlighted variable(s) to the Pedigree ID Variable field, as shown below: |
Note: Leave the field blank if all of the individuals are from the same pedigree.
