Sex Variable
The Sex Variable field specifies the variable indicating gender. This variable must contain either the numeric values 1 and 2 or character strings starting with "M" and "F" corresponding to male and female, respectively.
To Specify a Sex Variable:

All of the variables in the specified input data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.
| 8 | Examine the list of available variables. |
| 8 | Highlight the variables specifying sex. In this example, sex is defined by the values in the variable sex. |
