Sliding Window Variable
Use this field to designate the sliding windows of markers to use to form haplotypes.
Sliding windows, the number of adjacent markers included in a haplotype, only can be defined within a group, so any values of this variable that are repeated in another group are treated as different windows. No overlapping can be performed when windows are defined in this manner.
To Specify a Sliding Window Variable:
8 | Specify the Annotation SAS Data Set. |
All of the variables in the specified annotation data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.
8 | Examine the list of available variables. |
8 | Highlight the variable defining the sliding window. |
8 | Click to add the highlighted variable to the Sliding WIndow Variable field. |
Note: If you specify a value in the Sliding Window Variable field, the Sliding Window Size field/slider, located on the Options tab, is disabled.
