Add markers dropped out from marker reduction analysis back to the linkage groups
Check this option to add markers dropped by marker reduction analysis in the Recombination and Linkage Groups process, back to the linkage groups.
When this option is checked, the analysis first finds the best order of representative markers, and then adds and locally orders clusters of dropped markers back into linkage groups close to their representative markers.
When you check this option, you must also specify both a variable with clustering membership in the Cluster Variable field and a filter to select one marker at the center of each cluster using the Filter to Include Observations field, on the General tab.
Note: This option is available only when the dropped markers along with their K-means clustering membership are appended to the output data sets of the Recombination and Linkage Groups process and missing valuesfor the linkage group variable are assigned to the dropped markers. To meet these requirements, you must check the option to Append markers dropped out from marker reduction analysis to the output data sets in the Recombination and Linkage Groups before that process is run.
To Specify This Option:
8 | You must run the Recombination and Linkage Groups process with the Append markers dropped out from marker reduction analysis to the output data sets option checked in order to generate an input data set containing the necessary columns. |
