Gene Identifier

Select a unique variable indicating the gene. For exon level summarization, this variable and the Exon Count variable are used to create a unique identifier for exon.

To Specify a Gene Identifier Variable:

Specify an Annotation File to activate the field.

The Available Variables field becomes populated with variables from the specified file.

Left-click a variable from the Available Variables field.

Click to add the selected variable to the Gene Identifier field.
