Annotation Analysis Group (Gene e.g.) Variable
The Annotation Analysis Group (Gene e.g.) Variable field is used to indicate the annotation variable designating SNPs to include together in the same model (typically a variable indicating the gene to which each SNP belongs). Models are fit and statistics reported for each unique value of this variable within an annotation plotting group (typically chromosome).
To Specify the Annotation Analysis Group Variable:

All of the variables in the specified annotation data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.
8 | Examine the list of available variables. |
8 | Highlight the variable that specifies SNPs to include together in the same model. |
8 | Click to add the highlighted variable to the Annotation Analysis Group Variable field, as shown below: |
Note: The values of other variables in the annotation data set for the first SNP in each gene only are included in the output data sets.
