Color Variable
Use this field to specify a variable by which to color the plots. In the Basic Linkage Mapping Workflow, this variable is used to color markers in the order plots and linkage map viewer.
To Specify a Color Variable:
| 8 | Specify an input data set (an Annotation SAS Data Set in the Basic Linkage Mapping Workflow). |
All of the variables in the specified data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.
| 8 | Examine the list of available variables. |
| 8 | Highlight (left-click on) one variable. |
| 8 | Click  to add the highlighted variable to the Color Variable field, as shown below: |
