-log10(p-value) Cutoff
Use the field (slider) to set the cutoff of -log10(p-values) for selecting predictors via statistical testing. This setting is an alternative to specifying a Multiple Testing Method.
Only predictors with an adjusted -log10(p-value) greater than this number are considered for model building.
Note: Values specified here are on the -log10 scale, so 1.3 corresponds to a p-value cutoff of 0.05, 2 to 0.01, 3 to 0.001, and so on.
Note: If you do not specify LSMeans differences or ESTIMATE statements, the selection is made across Type 3 tests of the fixed effects.
To Specify a -log10(p-value) Cutoff Value:
8 | Check the Use Statistical Testing to Filter Predictors box (if available). |
8 | Either type the desired value in the text field or move the slider to the right or to the left to change the value. |
Tip: To change the scale of the slider, right-click on the slider and select from the pop-up menu. Change the upper or lower boundaries in the window that appears, to rescale the slider and click .
