Method

Specify one of the methods.

The automated method(s) call SAS/STAT PROC FASTCLUS.

Automated K Means computes a fixed number of clusters as specified on the General tab.

•

Automated Radius K Means (if available) uses the Correlation Radius for Clustering parameter below (if available) to determine the number of clusters.

Refer to the SAS PROC FASTCLUS documentation for additional details.

The interactive methods invoke the corresponding clustering platforms in JMP for standard k-means, normal density mixtures, or self organizing maps. Refer to the JMP Statistics Guide for additional details.

Check the K-Means Clustering box to activate this field.
