Automated Model Type

Use this option to specify the type of automated modeling procedure to use.

Available options are described in the table below:

Option	Definition
Standard	Choose this option to automatically construct a binary decision tree.
Rule Mix	Choose this option to use a recursive partitioning method in which multiple splitting rules are mixed at the top two levels.
Boosted	Choose this option to create a series of small decision trees, each tree being fit to the residual of the earlier trees in the series.
Forest	Choose this option to create several trees by randomly selecting training observations and predictor variables.

To Specify the Automated Modeling Procedure:

Make sure that the Automated Mode has been selected.

Select the desired automated modeling procedure by clicking within the appropriate radio button.
