Primary Output Data Set Name

The Primary Output Data Set Name field is used to specify a name for the primary output SAS data set with its row scores added as new columns with names Prin1-PrinN, where N is the number of principal components specified.

If no name is specified here, the name of the primary input data set with the _pcs1 suffix appended, is specified by default.

To Specify an Output Name:

Left-click in the field and type a name for the output data set.

For example, type Prostate_PCA1 in the text field.

The resulting data set is named: Prostate_PCA1.sas7bdat.
