Number of Groups for Rank Method GROUPS
When the GROUPS Rank Method has been specified, this option collapses the ranks into a fixed number of groups, numbered from 0 to the number that you specify, minus 1. The resulting groups should be of approximately equal size, depending on total number of values and ties.
Examples: Specify 100 for percentiles, 10 for deciles, and 4 for quartiles. In the case of 4, the original values are partitioned into four groups, with the smallest values receiving a quartile value of 0, and the largest values receiving a quartile value of 3.
