Server Profiles
This process registers a new SAS server profile for connecting to a SAS Metadata Server.
What do I need?
You must supply the following information to run this process:
• | A profile name, |
• | The server machine name, |
• | The port number for the server, and |
• | Your user name for connecting to the server. |
Note: If you desire, this process can store your server password. If you choose not to enter it in this process dialog, you must enter it when you connect to the server with the Select SAS Server Profile process.
Output/Results
The SAS server profile is registered. To use it, run Select SAS Server Profile.
This process enables you to delete a SAS server profile.
What do I need?
A SAS server profile (other than Local) added using Add SAS Server Profile.
Output/Results
The SAS server profile is deleted.
This process enables you to select a SAS server profile to use for processes.
What do I need?
To select a server other than the Local server, you must have already added it using Add SAS Server Profile.
Output/Results
The chosen server is used.
Note: After you connect to a SAS server profile, the first process dialog that you open might trigger log messages of the form Library “Studyname [ADAM/SDTM]” skipped because libref “[Adam/Sdtm]” is in use. They are not indicative of errors or abnormal operation.
